Daniel Roberts

Built around bird dogs, muddy boots, and long mornings in the field. I’m a NAVHDA-focused trainer and handler based in Virginia with a passion for developing dependable hunting dogs the right way, through consistency, exposure, and hard work. No shortcuts, no gimmicks. Just honest training built around the dog in front of me. From basic obedience to natural ability and advanced gun dog work, the goal stays the same: produce confident dogs that can handle the marsh, the woods, and the blind while still being solid at home. Stormy Point Bird Dogs was built on grit, patience, and a love for the tradition behind working dogs, upland birds, and waterfowl hunting.

Whether it’s telling stories from the blind, capturing training days in the field, or connecting with the hunting community, Bill focuses on building real relationships and keeping things genuine. No polished corporate nonsense, just honest content, good dogs, and the lifestyle that comes with them.

From blind construction and field setup to water retrieves and hunt preparation, Corey is deeply rooted in the retriever side of the operation. His focus is on building confident, reliable dogs through repetition, exposure, and real-world work in the field. Dependable, gritty, and always ready to put in the effort, he represents the no-shortcuts mentality Stormy Point was built on.

His focus stays on preserving strong instincts, solid temperaments, and the kind of drive that translates from training days to real hunts. Whether it’s helping with upland work, water retrieves, or evaluating future pairings, Shawn brings a practical, boots-on-the-ground approach built around the long game—not shortcuts or trends.
